PURPOSE: A method for designing sinc function type chip waveform for increasing volume and improving signal quality in a CDMA system is provided to remove partial chip correlation value pertinent to interference, sufficiently reduce MAI in a receiver without additional structure, and maximize volume of a system and the quality of signals by minimizing interference. CONSTITUTION: In designing a chip waveform to remove MAI in a CDMA system, a signal of a pseudo noise code is designed in a form of a sinc function having a roll-off factor of a time area, so that performance of BER(Bit Error Rate) or throughput is improved.
