Industrial Ink Jet Printer Equipped with Ink Temperature Control System

PURPOSE: An industrial ink jet printer having an ink temperature control system is provided to prevent trouble by temperature changes of the ink jet printer, to cut down expenses by restricting overuse of a diluent for proper viscosity, and to save ink by replacing the ink properly. CONSTITUTION: A temperature control system is composed of a control unit converting ink temperature value into voltage by detecting the ink temperature with a temperature sensor, and comparing with the reference value; a heating and cooling unit adjusting the ink temperature in case of the detected temperature to be out of range of the reference value; a circulating unit keeping the temperature with circulating ink or coolant by a water pump; and a display unit indicating the abnormal state of the printer. The temperature sensor measures temperature of ink in a reservoir and inputs to the microcomputer. The control unit drives the water pump, applies a cooling signal to a thermoelectric module of the heating and cooling unit, and cools efficiently by driving a fan in case of the input temperature to be over the reference value. The system is stopped temporarily in case of the temperature to be equal to the reference value, and the set temperature is preserved constantly at low temperature. The display unit indicates the system stop or the abnormal state of the system in receiving a signal from an overheating and overcooling sensor.
