PRODUCTION OF RICE COATED WITH HERB MEDICINE USING MALTOSE AND HERBAL MEDICINE

摘要

PURPOSE: A process for preparing rice coated with herb medicine by extracting herb medicine(Sibjeondaebotang) and mixing maltose and mixing rice is provided. Whereby, the rice is not cracked on its surface when cooked and contains an effective component of herb medicine on its surface. CONSTITUTION: Sibjeondaebotang(a Korean name of a herb medicine) is added with water in a ratio of about 1:4, extracted, mixed maltose in a ratio of about 2:1 and then mixed with rice to produce the titled rice coated with herb medicine. The obtained rice has an effect on allowing everybody to take a tonic medicine everyday without any trouble to boil.
