摘要

PURPOSE: A VCR with a compulsory record button is provided to selectively record or prevent recording by compulsorily turning on/off a record prevention safety switch according to a user's selection even when a video tape whose record prevention tip is removed is inserted and seated. CONSTITUTION: A lever is turned as far as a predetermined angle by a record prevention tip which is formed on a side of an inserted video tape. A record prevention safety switch is turned on/off by a side end part of the lever so as to prevent recording on the video tape. A forcible record button is tilted as deep as a predetermined angle by a pressure applied from the outside so as to compulsorily turn the lever. A holder fixedly keeps a state that the forcible record button is rotated. A hook-shaped protrusion is formed on a side end part of the forcible record button for coupling with the holder. A hook-shaped protrusion is formed on a side end part of the holder for coupling with the forcible record button and an elastic body is disposed on other end part for horizontally maintaining the holder.
