APPARATUS FOR HEATING AGGREGATE WITHOUT DAMAGING VISCOSITY OF AP3 USING STEAM CONVERSION HEAT TYPE PERFECT COMBUSTION DRIER BURNER

摘要

PURPOSE: An apparatus for heating aggregate without damaging viscosity of AP3 is provided to produce high quality Ascon, to extend the life of asphalt, and to prevent the generation of accident due to the bad condition of road surface by adopting a steam conversion heat type perfect combustion drier burner. CONSTITUTION: The apparatus for heating cool aggregate comprises a perfect combustion type drier burner. Thus, because only perfectly burned hot air permeated into the drier, moisture contained in the cool aggregate dried in eddy condition within the drier changed into steam. At this time, the steam serves to uniformly increase the temperature inside of the drier. Also, a drier wing formed with fine aggregate dropping holes on the wall thereof is able to held and heat only coarse aggregate, thereby the overheating of the fine aggregate being restricted. Consequently, the heating apparatus is capable of heating the coarse aggregate up to a desired high temperature without damaging the viscosity of AP3.
