PURPOSE: A method for applying a pari-mutuel ticket and noticing a winning ticket using the Internet is provided to reduce the time and money of an appliance required for applying the pari-mutuel ticket by providing information related to a horse racing to be held and noticing winning tickets. CONSTITUTION: An appliance accesses a home page of a web site selling an Internet pari-mutuel ticket through the Internet(S001). The appliance becomes the member of the web site by inputting personal information, such as an appliance's residence, a telephone number, an E-mail address, and the like(S002). Thereafter, the appliance buys the pari-mutuel ticket and applies it to a specific horse anticipating in a horse racing(S003). Completing the horse racing, the appliance receives a winning ticket through an E-mail.
