Acrylate-alone and epoxy-acrylate viscoelastic thermoset resins exhibit high temperature braking action. These materials are suitable for reducing vibration in components and structures of devices that require high temperature performance, such as automobiles, aircraft, industrial facilities and applications. These materials can be prepared as interpenetrating polymer networks and can be used as free or constrained layers.
