PURPOSE: A string instrument for exercising is provided to conveniently play the harp by inserting a musical note into a resonance box formed between a string and a string instrument body. CONSTITUTION: A string instrument comprises upper and lower plates(2,2a) formed as a diamond shape; a frame(6) attached to an outer circumference between the upper plate and the lower plate; a resonance box formed by fixing the frame; an iron core(11a) fixed in the middle of a support protruded piece(11); plural fixing pins(4) arranged on the resonance box; plural controlling screw(12) arranged on the other side of the resonance box; and a musical note(24) inserted between the upper plate and a string(14). The controlling screw is rotated to control musical scale of the string. Thereby, the string instrument conveniently plays the harp by inserting the musical note into the resonance box mounted between the string and the upper plate.
