In the disk apparatus using the disk as the information recording medium, vibration caused by uneven weight distribution of the rotating portion can be prevented. The motor for rotating the turntable of the disk device has a rotor. Multiple weights are provided in the rotor, and the weights are displaced by vibrations generated in the motor due to the rotation of the rotor. Multiple weights are provided to be rotatable in an annular space having a center coinciding with the axis of rotation of the rotor.
