FIELD: analytical chemistry. SUBSTANCE: method measuring quantity of nitroso compounds in environment includes preparation of sample, measurement of dose of γ- radiation taken by sample, separation of nitrogen-carrying ions, determination of concentration of precursors of nitroso compounds. Sample in this case is cleaned from components affecting its optical density in advance by way of usage of buffer-precipitator to obtain sample carrying precursors of nitroso compounds only. Then value of pH of sample is found. In addition dose of β- radiation is measured and concentration of S, O, N, C compounds is determined by content of precursors of nitroso compounds, values of doses of γ and β radiation and value of pH. EFFECT: development of technology measuring content of nitroso compounds ( S, O, N, C nitroso amines ) in all objects of environment, living organisms included, increased accuracy of measurement and widened application field. 1 cl
