FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves introducing a thread through the flat portion of the ciliary body from the side opposite to the amotio retianae. One of these ends is immersed into the vitreous body with a loop formed. The retina is pressed from the separated side. Hypertension is created by tightening a circular ribbon. Retinocleisis is created by means of forced puncture of subretinal fluid. EFFECT: reliable fixation of the separated retinal edge; enhanced effectiveness of surgical treatment.
