FIELD: mining, particularly, machine extraction by chambers of water-bearing deposits of water-soluble minerals and thin strata of waterproof rocks covering the deposit. SUBSTANCE: method includes provision of conditions for relaxation of stresses in strata of waterproof rocks and conferring smooth character to processes of deformation and shifting of rock mass. Extraction of mineral beds is combined with blasting of explosive charges located in intermediate pillars by triangulation network. Determination of location of centers of network points is begun from fixing on plan of mine workings of centers of two base points being centers of two base charges of explosives located in interchamber pillars at initial boundary of worked out space. Distance between base explosive charges is taken equal to double distance from center of the first base point to upper boundary of zone of fracturing and caving in strata of waterproof rocks during extraction of mineral beds.
