SUBSTANCE: invention seeks possibility to increase efficiency of control using fuller and obvious account of parameters characterizing processes proceeding in porous medium. For that, one measures clayiness parameters, formation pressure, oil and water viscosity and determines relative permeability factors for oil and water from results of nonstationary examinations. Thereafter, one draws pressure field and vector and scalar filtration rate fields and calculates value of oil-recovery factor (Y) from multidimensional equation of its dependence on clayiness (x1, sp.un.), initial oil saturation (x2, %), initial oil- saturation thickness (x3, m), permeability (x4, mD), and filtration rate (x5, m/year): Y = 0.626-0.007678*z3-0.00191*z2+0.000002796*z2z3, where z2= 0.38x1+0.54x2+0.49x3-0.28x4-0.50x5, z3=0.88x1+0.42x2+0.19x3+0.09x4+0.08x5.
