FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves treating a patient in three stages separated in time. Articulation cure is made at the first stage and then generalized plastic repair of the whole intercondylar space after evaluating the condition of the anterior cruciform ligament stumps, to prevent from impingement to occur. Lyophilized cutaneocartilaginous allotransplant is produced of the proper ligament of the kneepan and rehabilitation care is concurrently applied at the second stage during 5-6 weeks to achieve potentiation of the quadriceps femoris muscle. Unequal-sized canals arranged in mutually perpendicular directions are formed at the third stage in the tibial and femoral condyle according to transtibial method, making preliminary extension of the intercondylar space. Then, earlier produced conic bone block is introduced into femoral canal. Bone block of cylindrical shape is introduced into the tibial canal. The transplant is fixed in the femoral canal using bone impact method. The transplant in the tibial canal is fixed by means of bone pin from autobone produced in forming the tibial canal. EFFECT: improved articulation stability in the cases of proper kneepan ligament defects occurring.
