The diffusion and distribution plinth incorporates a primary chamber (1) and a secondary chamber (2) divided into two compartments by a separating wall (9). A heating body is fitted in the secondary chamber. Injection nozzles (10) and a spreading grill (11) enable primary air to be diffused from the first chamber to the two compartments of the second. Diffusion grills (13,14) allow heated air from the second chamber and non-heated air to diffuse into the building. A dividing wall (3) separates an electrical distribution channel (4) in the upper part of the plinth. A dividing wall (6) separates a guide channel (7) closed by a grill (5) and issuing on guiding devices (8) fitted in the secondary chamber.
