Variable-displacement compressor of swash plate, as well as a method for a hardening of the wobble plate

The compressor has a piston (24) in a boring (11a), a swashplate (27) in a crank chamber to drive the piston, and a drive shaft for the cam plate. Gas is sucked from an induction chamber (38), compressed in the boring and expelled into an output chamber (40). There is a channel (33) admitting gas into the induction chamber. A spool (51) on the drive shaft (16) can move to open and close this channel selectively. The spool is sprung by a spring (53) to the open-channel position. A thrust bearing (55) on the drive shaft takes the load of the swashplate. A hardening process for the swashplate is also described.
