Paint feed monitoring system for paint spray plant detects characteristic values for dosing pump and paint feed used for calculating dynamic viscosity of paint

The paint feed monitoring system uses a rev sensor (8) associated with the dosing pump (5) and pressure sensors (6,7) associated with the paint feed (1), for providing characteristic values supplied to a data processing device. This provides a paint feed characteristic, compared with a standard characteristic for indicating sensor failure and uses the characteristic values for calculation of the dynamic viscosity of the paint.
