Device for producing electrical energy through thermal photo voltaic conversion comprises at least one thermophotovoltaic cell (9) and at least one thermoelectric cell (10) with which electrical energy can be produced on the basis of the thermoelectric effect at a temperature difference between a warm side and a cold side of each thermoelectric cell.
