The floor heating for a building has a heat exchange fluid pipe (14) surrounded by a corrugated sleeve pipe (24) which is of insulating material and of such thickness that it prevents inflow of external heat. The sleeve pipe has the heat exchange pipe assembly positioned in a layer of asphalt which is destroyed by temperatures outside the operating range to protect the inner pipe.
