The piston has two work faces and operates in a cylinder shaped as the segment of a circle. At either end of the cylinder are inlet (Ein) and exhaust (Aus) valves and sparking plugs so that as the piston moves backward and forward in the section of the cylinder they face the normal four stroke(Hub 1-4) cycle is performed.
