X-ray source (2) irradiates X-ray towards the patient bed. A digital X-ray detector provided below the bed, detects the X-ray radiant flux and accordingly generates a digital image. The position of X-ray detector is shifted based on the displacement of X-ray source. The X-ray detector is rotated with the angle of rotation ranging between 2-88 deg .
