The dynamo has a generator arrangement with a rotor and a stator. Magnetic elements (1-3) consisting pref. of one-piece or multi-piece plastic strips provided with anisotropic magnetized magnetic powder and are inserted or fixed between the tire (4) and tube (5) and/or the rim base (7) and tube and/or in hollow cavities (9) in the front and/or rear wheels to extend over 360 degrees. Induction coils (10-12) are arranged to generate the required voltage.
