The system comprises a quick shut-off valve, a quick-sealing coupling and an intervening, easily-exchanged filter cap. Preferred features: The filter cap comprises a membrane and impermeable shell (1). The shell fits tightly onto the valve, and the fast-acting coupling fits over the filter cap. The assembly resists steam sterilization at 121 deg C for 15 minutes. The membrane is a hydrophilic or hydrophobic, sterile microfiltration membrane. It is reinforced or multilayer and is combined with a fleece or fabric. The shell is made in a dipping-, or a deep-drawing process. Its top has a star-shaped opening. The remainder of the star shape on the upper side of the shell carries e.g. grooves, studs or ridges. Membrane and shell are thermally-welded, ultrasonically-welded or adhered together. The underside of the shell has an opening and an edge at the lower end. The shell is joined at a weakened location, at the edge.
