Method and equipment for displaying and measuring perfusion state of biological tissue based on fluorescent stimulation of blood vessels injected with fluorescent dye

A fluorescent dye is injected intravenously and the perfusion status determined from the infrared intensity based on fluorescent stimulation in the IR spectral region. A laser diode (1) with emission spectrum reduced by an interference filter (2) to a few nanometers excites the blood vessels (4) in the tissue (3). A CCD camera (7) records a fluorescence image which is then displayed on a monitor (8). A bandpass filter (5) blocks out the infrared light
