The modular block incorporates two parallel pipe sections with fittings, enclosed by a block-shaped foamed jacket with first holder units (32,34) on opposite sides. Second holder units (38) are located in the jacket on either side of a central plane, which is parallel to the pipe sections. After the block has been divided into two mainly similar blocks, each with a pipe section, each part block can be installed using a first and a second holder unit.
