A first stabiliser part (2) is associated with one wheel and a second stabiliser part (3) is associated with the other wheel and the two parts are coupled by an actuator (4). At least one of the stabiliser parts is connected either directly to the associated actuator connector (5, 6) through a friction welding connection (12) or laser welding connection, or indirectly through a coupling member (5, 10) which is attached rotationally secured to the stabiliser part. Independent claim describes method for manufacturing stabiliser assembly by producing coupling member (9,10) separately from stabiliser part prior to fixing it on same.
