The deposition device uses a rotating paddle wheel (1) and at least 2 cooperating strippers (6) which are pivoted coaxially about the axis (17) of the the paddle wheel. The stripping line of each stripper extends at an angle to the tangent of the paddle wheel at the intersection point of its circle with the stripping line. An Independent claim for a product deposition method is also included.
