The switch for adjusting a vehicle seat has a switch body (2) on which are three surfaces (15- 17) serving as the switching surfaces for selection switches enabling a presetting to be made for adjusting the various seat elements. The selection switches are touch contact switches which drive an electronic control operating positional actuators for the various individual elements of the seat, as required by the vehicle user.
