The cigarette, free of smoke, has a stable body, a removable nicotine filter, a glow wire, a battery and a suction membrane switch. The glow wire (2) is under a small wire basket (1). When the smoker sucks on the cigarette, the suction membrane switch (3) is tripped and closes the battery (4) circuit to energize the glow wire (2). Warm air is drawn through the filter (5) which dissolves the contained nicotine for inhalation. The amount of inhaled nicotine is controlled by the filter (5).
