Testing of vehicles , especially motor vehicles for the automobile industry can be carried more safely and effectively out by means of a robotic vehicle which controls the test vehicle on a closed test track, particularly during protracted testing, with the resultant benefit of avoidance of damage to the health of, or injury to, human test drivers.
