The method involves automatically changing the size of an aperture (2) in the outer skin of a vehicle cabin, especially an aperture in the roof area (1) depending on the speed of the vehicle. At least one speed threshold is preferably provided, in response to which a different size of the aperture is adjusted. Different speed thresholds are preferably provided for acceleration- and deceleration processes of the vehicle. An Independent claim is provided for a corresponding arrangement.
