The coating (Grenzschicht) has an upper surface roughness that is sub-critical for laminar flow and reduces insect adhesion. The roughness depth is 1-60 mu m. Preferably, the surface has a base structure with a roughness depth of 5-60 mu m and a fine structure with a roughness depth of 1-20 mu m. The roughness may be formed by particles of the required diameter.
