The mobile arm device has an immobilising foot (1), e.g. a suction pad, which carries a support section (2). This consists of two arms joined by a pivot which can be fastened by a screw (5). The bottom of the support section is connected to the foot by a ball-and-socket joint and a rapid release connector (6) is attached to the top of the support section by a second ball-and-socket joint.
