Two reflectors are used. The main reflector (1) contains the light source (3), from which rays (9) are directly reflected into the optical conductor (5), especially a light pipe. Angles of incidence ( alpha ), formed with the pipe optical axis, are acute. A further opposed reflector (10), of greater diameter than the main reflector, is located between the main reflector and the pipe, and includes an opening (4). This reflector returns incident rays back to the main reflector, where they are redirected into the optical conductor.
