Microfluidic pH sensor module comprises a microfluidic channel (1) formed in a substrate and having a height of 100-1500 micro m and a width of 100-2000 micro m with an inlet for the introduction of and an outlet for the removal of measuring fluid; a three color illuminating diode (2) as light source adhered in a first opening above the channel; and a photodiode (3) as light detector adhered in a second opening below the channel.
