The cooling and fixing method uses radially outer cooling channels (5) and inner cooling and fixing channels (3), provided by a compression frame (2) fitted to the outside of the stator laminations packet. The winding head (1) is fully or partially enclosed in a resin mass (4), which extends into the inner cooling and fixing channels of the compression frame, for secure fixing of the winding head.
