The grinding disk contains grinding bodies and has two side surfaces (e.g. 6) orthogonal to the rotation axis. Not only the endface (2), but also the side surfaces can be used for grinding. At least one of the side surfaces has a structure with intermediate cavities, which overlays the natural structure of the disk.
