Sensors, such as position sensors, pressure sensors/switches etc. are used to detect the body position. Vibration elements are used to apply vibration to the human body. The elements are arranged in anatomically suitable locations. The body position can be modified during periods of sleep. The vibration elements may be fixed to the body or arranged in a mattress.
