Oil level reduction device for automobile continuously variable transmission has valve in partition wall between 2 oil chambers opened and closed in dependence on selected transmission ratio
The oil level reduction device uses a valve (30) incorporated in the partition wall (26) between 2 oil chambers (20,28) corresponding to different oil levels and operated in dependence on the transmission ratio, so that it is closed in one gear position, e.g. drive (D) and opened in other gear positions, e.g. neutral (N), reverse (R) and park (P).
