The converter (1) has a pump rotor (P), a fixed guide wheel (L), and a turbine wheel (T), each with blades (3). The blade arrangement for the guide rotor is characterized by the following geometric ratios:- The blade pitch ratio at the flow entry into the guide wheel seen in direction of flow, relative to the length of a blade is = 45; the ratio of the largest dimension of a blade of the guide wheel seen in peripheral direction, relative to the length of a blade, is = 0,18.
