Adeno-associated virus (AAV) vector (A) containing cDNA that encodes monocyte chemotactic protein-1 (MCP-1) is new. Independent claims are also included for the following: (a) AAV particles (B) that contain (A); (b) pharmaceutical composition containing (A) or (B) and a carrier; and (c) cells containing (A) or (B).
