The device corrects image noise or color errors in digitally sampled film material using a noise reducer and/or color corrector and has an integral image memory consisting of at least one RAM memory component in the form of a DIMM or SIMM module. A scene change detector controls the start and end of the storage of the digitized film material in the image memory.
