The drive train has a first planetary gear set (PG1) with a first and second element connected variable to a drive shaft (1) and a transmission housing (3), and a third element connected to a transmission shaft (5) for output transmission. A second planetary gear set (PG2) has a fourth element connected to the transmission shaft for output transmission, a fifth element connected variable to the drive shaft, and a sixth element fastened to the second element, to create a connection element, which is connected variable to the drive shaft. There are friction elements for variable connection of the first, second, fifth, and sixth element to drive shaft or transmission housing.
