The screw-type vacuum pump has two shafts each carrying a rotor(4) with a hollow chamber(31) and provided with open bores(41) open to the pressure side and in which are located guide components(44) which serve for the separate guiding of inflowing and outflowing cooling medium. The axially orientated inlet and/or outlet lines are formed as central or non-central bores, as longitudinal slot sections on the sides or as outer annular gaps in the guide component.
