The insulator (20) has two force conduction points (21,22) connected by an insulator that absorbs high-frequency vibrations on either point and generates dynamic counter oscillations. A spring system (25) is arranged parallel to the insulator and swivels outwards in proportion to the counter oscillations. A damper unit is also coupled to the insulator. The damper unit coupled to the insulator has a damping constant selected so that the counter oscillations are transmitted undamped to both force conduction points, but so that static or quasistatic external forces are only transmitted by the spring system. The spring system conducts the external forces and matches the damping unit. An Independent claim is included for a helicopter including the vibration insulator.
