The machine has a lifting mechanism with an oblong bracket extending over the length of the weighing platform (10). A support is connected with a bracket joint which is inturn connected with the axle of the chassis. A receiving frame is arranged below the bracket for effecting positioning of the vehicle on the weighing platform.
