The door housing (2) and the armor (8) are made of plastics, with the armor being integrated in the door housing. At least one side (10) of the door housing comprises an integral layer composition, whereby one or more first layers (11-13) form the wall (15) of the door housing and one or more second layers (14) form the armor. The outer layer (11) is made of hardened resin, e.g. epoxy resin or phenolic resin. The inner layer (12) is made of glass fiber web and the further layer (13) is made of carbon fiber web. The second layer (14) is made of polyamide web, e.g. Aramid web or Twaron web (RTM; Aramid).
