The implant for a femur, as a prophylactic against fractures for bones afflicted with osteoporosis, has a rigid reinforcement body (2) with a second reinforcement body (3) with a flexible outer contour at the near end. The structure allows the implant to be pushed into place and locked in position. The second reinforcement (3), alternatively, can have a shaping and locking axial movement. A flexible shaft (4) sets the condition of the second reinforcement body (3), where its near end is covered by a cambered closure (6) which is adjusted by the near end (7) of the shaft (4), with a twisting movement which modifies the structure of the far end (8) of the outer contour of the body (3). The implant can be covered by a mesh of a metal and/or plastics tolerated by the bone tissue.
