The current and heat energy generation device has a wind turbine or a water turbine for driving an electrical generator having a rotor and a stator, for providing an electrical current and for rotation of a metal disc (9) within a magnetic field for providing heat via the induced eddy currents. The rotor of the generator and the metal disc are fitted to a common shaft (7), the peripheral region of the metal disc contained within a housing filled with an electrically insulating heat transfer medium, the housing, the metal disc and the shaft providing a plug-in heat energy module with complementary plug connections at opposite shaft ends.
