The digital data signal processing device has each RAKE finger (R1,R2,...Rn) of a RAKE receiver section, associated with one signal path (P1,P2) of an air interface, provided with a CDMA separation device (C) for separating the digital data signal components, preceded by a digital interpolator (TVI). Each of the digital interpolators can be provided by a quadratic or cubic Lagrange interpolator, providing a signal rate reduction by a factor of 2 and is preceded by a random-access memory for synchronisation of the RAKE fingers.
